How can I save on my medical expenses?
1.  Research for the best deal:

Find out in advance what the insurance company will pay.  Knowing your cost in advance will help
you to find the right provider at the right cost.   This information is available and can save you a large
amount of money.
Research the medical procedure using on-line resources:
2.  Negotiate for the best price:

Most Insurance plans only pay a percentage of your medical bill.  MyMedicalControl (MMC)
negotiates with your doctor or hospital to lower the amount of the bill you are responsible for.  By
using price and payment information to your advantage, it is not uncommon to save 30% - 40%
through negotiating with your provider.
3.  Flexible Savings Accounts are an excellent way to set aside a portion of your income on a pre-tax
basis to pay for qualified medical expenses..  This helps lower your annual income tax and gives you
a source of money to pay un-reimbursed medical expenses.
